How is equity defined? Inclusion of under-served populations into active transportation planning and decision-making is key to ensuring positive outcomes for users that need it most. This session will focus on the different facets of transportation equity, including civic engagement, decision-making, public health, and educational issues. Case studies will examine these different issues and offer examples for consideration to contribute to broad and effective active transportation equity policies.
